Wedged Loafers with Fringed Detailing from M&S
Wedged Loafers available in 5 colour options in sizes UK3 – UK8
The summer look is very much about wearing cut off style trousers/jeans with flat loafer style shoes.
I have been impressed with the colour ranges available from many retailers but very disappointed with just how flat some of these shoes are.
I find that very flat shoes give me pain in my calves and no arch support. I was therefore delighted to find these shoes at M&S which not only are ideal to wear with the new season trouser look but also have a wedged heel which gives just that bit more support to the heel and ball of the foot areas.
These shoes are available in silver, mink, navy, pale blue and in yellow so providing plenty of options to mix and match with all your outfits.
The fact that there is also more of a heel to these shoes makes them also ideal to wear with bermuda style shorts and skirts.
In all I think they are the perfect go anywhere summer shoe.
Have a look at the short video below to see close up detail of the shoes and to hear what I have to say about wearing them.
Please note I have found the sizing not as standard in these shoes. Ordinarily I wear a UK8 (sometimes with M&S I wear a size UK7.5). These shoes do NOT come in half sizes so I have opted for the size UK7 which fits me perfectly. Some of the reviews on the M&S website also point out about differences in sizing. I think you need to try these shoes on with your bare feet and put a footsie on to get the best fit possible. It is a pity that there is a problem with the sizing as these are my perfect go anywhere shoes for summer. As long as you are aware that you may need to try on a few sizes to get the width and overall fit right for you you will have a great pair of shoes for summer.

A little note to my regular viewers. As some of you may be aware from my message on Facebook and Twitter I have been unwell for a short period and therefore have not updated the blog in the past few weeks. I am now back on form again and gradually working to get back to full speed. Thank you for your support and messages. Diane XXX
